The guest name tags contained the wedding suite colors used as meal indicators for our catering company to serve our guests. The same color scheme was used on the border of the table menus, which was minimalist but a nod to the theme. Example: our welcome sign colors were painted acrylic, which matched the colors of our invitation suite. Unified theme across signage and invitation suite: Ji's designs helped bring everything together between the different locations at our venue without being cheesy with excessive signs and goods. She can also handwrite things in Chinese and Korean if you’re looking for calligraphy on your envelopes! Accommodating different languages: we needed to have guest names and salutations printed in Chinese and English, which she was able to do easily.
In addition to her exceptional designs, we also appreciated these things: She can definitely do all those things, but we didn't want to spend extra on the invitations so she didn't push it. I also appreciated that she did not try to push any buy-ups on us, like: more expensive print materials, foiling, envelope liners, and more. For us, she did custom illustration of us drinking boba wearing Cal beast mode shirts, custom monogram + invite suite, custom cornhole illustration, custom acrylic sign, and more! Ji also had very good ideas and added things that I didn't think of, which turned out so nice! On the day of the wedding, when we saw everything in person we were literally blown away! I couldn't get over how everything looked so good, and made everything else popped. She asked questions about our relationship to figure out what was special to us in order to help her create a theme or personal touch. Ji truly wants to personalize her work to her couples. Which is impossible considering I saw her work at two different gorgeous weddings. I often wondered if all my emails drove her crazy, but through it all she helped me piece together the details of my wedding and her work turned out better than I could have imagined. Ji is so much fun to work with as she is super sweet and very responsive. I knew Ji's creativity and talent would be a staple at my wedding.
Ter also ended up hiring Ji for her wedding signage in 2019 and Ji's work there was also amazing.
